What kind of game is Jelly Village?

Jelly Village is a cozy game where you merge matching blocks to fulfill villagers' requests, venture into a sea drained of color to rescue trapped neighbors, and rebuild a seaside village with the friends you save. You follow Jelly, a girl who has lost her memories, as she brings color back to the sea.

What genre is it?

It's a casual game that blends merge puzzle mechanics (combine items to create new ones), town-building simulation (build and decorate your own village), and an adventure story about purifying the sea and rescuing neighbors.

What can you do in the game?

• Merge — Combine matching blocks to craft what villagers need and earn rewards.
• Adventure — Purify areas of the darkened sea one by one to free the neighbors trapped there.
• Decorate — Build your village with the friends you rescue, and switch themes to completely change its mood.
• Dress up your Jelly — Mix hats, hair, outfits, and weapons, and dye them to make a character that's uniquely yours.
• Take a quick break — Mini-games and a collection book give you something to enjoy even in short sessions.

When and where can I play it?

Open beta (OBT) begins at 11:00 AM KST on October 2, 2026. It launches first on Android (Google Play), and anyone can join without signing up. The official site is playjellyvillage.com; any schedule changes will be posted here first.

Is it free?

Yes, it's free to download and play. Some cosmetic items, such as costumes, can be purchased in-game.
